We are still looking for one-one person for Music and Painting and two for DJ Art Groups during Meet the Freak, whom we call Profi freak.
What does it mean in practice to be a Profi freak?
Profi freaks run two times three days workshops (from morning till 4 pm). The workshops theme is interaction. These workshops are aiming at the process of:
- showing that everybody can do art
- providing basic skills to participants in the art fields
- developing skills like team work, communication skills
- developing self-confidence (‘I can do something’, dare to express, to do)
- raising intercultural awareness
- challenging yourself
The concrete outcome of the workshops will be interactive or about interaction performances/workshops, which will be showed/run at the campsite and at the action in the town for the local people.
In the second week there will be open projects, where everybody can initiate any workshops for action in town and/or at the campsite and performances for action in town and/or at the campsite. Profi freaks are open to give support if it is asked.

You won’t be let alone with huge aims and missions of Meet the freak. Instead, support will be provided! We offer you time and space to develop your program together with other Profi freaks, online communication with Profi freak coordinator and other Profi freaks.
Are you?
- Between 16 and 30 years old
- Experienced and feeling comfortable with working in groups
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to motivate people
- Interested in spreading the idea of amateur art into the world
- Ready to communicate with other before the camp of the Meet the Freak
- You can arrive already 2 days before the camp starts and stay 2 days longer (7-26 August) in Portugal
