Duha (Czech young Friends of Nature)
Duha is a Czech youth organisation with more than 5000 members organised in 100 local groups. Duha means "rainbow" and symbolises a mixture of various programmes for leisure time such as experiential education, outdoor sports, camping and tourism. Duha is a coordinating organisation of the whole project Outdoor Sports Education. Find more info at www.duha.cz.
Naturfreunde Internationale (NFI) and International Young Naturefriends (IYNF)
IYNF and NFI are European umbrella organisations of national federations of Friends of Nature. There are 600 000 Friends of Nature in Europe, more than 150 000 of them are young (under 30). Their aims are the promotion of ecologically sustainable and socially just active spending of leisure time. More information can be found at www.nfi.at and www.iynf.org
Department of Tourism, Outdoor Sports and Outdoor Education,
Charles University in Prague
Has been preparing programmes for students of the Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport for already more than 50 years. The department works together with many schools and organisations in the Czech Republic and abroad, takes part in many scientific programmes as well as international projects in the field of outdoor education.
